Title: Sales & Marketing Internship
The Sales & Marketing Intern is responsible for administratively supporting the L.A. sales team in executing all sales activities related to prospecting, closing and supporting ad revenue deals for major brands and advertisers. We are looking for a team player capable of working efficiently and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Assist L.A. sales team in all aspects of business as well as all other miscellaneous tasks assigned by L.A. sales team.
Research, summarize and maintain background information on all potential and current partners
Read, synthesize and communicate any industry-related or partner-related news or research to the L.A. sales team
Hourly, daily, weekly, monthly client contact updates to SalesForce database
Assist in crafting sales materials (PPT presentations, Word documents) in response to RFPs and also proactively for a variety of advertisers
Continuously update marketing and research materials (PPT presentations, Excel spreadsheets and Word docs)
Maintenance of comprehensive planning documents
Attend weekly meetings sales team to learn
Keep sales team up to date in regards to top client prospects news and announcements
Participate actively in internal meetings and brainstorm sessions
Other duties as assigned
Must be able to receive academic credit from his/her college or university prior to starting assignment
Must be enrolled in Bachelor?s program at an accredited college or university
Must be 18 years or older and have Sophomore standing or above
Must be able to commit to a work schedule of 3-5 per week, Monday-Friday, for a minimum 25 hours per week
An interest or major/minor in marketing/sales (previous marketing internship is a plus)
Must have reliable transportation to from work
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
Bold, self-starter who can take the ball and run
Collaborative and cool under pressure
Must be detail-oriented, very organized, a multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Mobile or digital experience a plus
Strong data entry skills
Good writing skills
Ability to work well with different personalities and within a team setting
