About the Position
The Jr Salesforce Developer will join the Business Systems team to help build critical tools for all internal Granicus systems. You will meet with business leaders throughout the company to assess issues and work to create effective, sustainable solutions that deliver real business value. The Business Systems Developer works closely with several business platforms including Salesforce.com (APEX and VisualForce), Netsuite, Jira (Atlassian) and Marketo to create efficiencies for all departments. You will utilize your strong work history of working with vendor software environments and building integrations via vendor published APIs to reach key initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail oriented, project focused developer who is excited to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic company. This position demands familiarity with the development process from conception to execution to roll-out to the end user.
This position will report to the Business Systems Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
? Identify, research, and execute upon integration and automation projects across the Granicus system landscape
? Lead meetings with key business leaders to build project requirements
? Maintain system and data integrity across all business systems
? Manage assigned projects and provide frequent status updates to all project participants
? Continually monitor platforms for new updates and advancements that can be used to improve features or enable new efficiencies
? Responsible for implementing solutions and supporting new processes and tools across all business teams
? Participate in systems and process rollouts and ongoing user support to ensure user adoption and constant improvement
? Create and maintain effective system and process documentation
? Maintain the Business Systems Map that shows how all systems interact and how they are utilized.
? Provides information and analysis essential for systems planning and project approval
? Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, impacts, etc, to all business leaders
Education and Experience:
? BA / BS with coursework in information, technology, or computer science preferred
? 2 years of experience in software development or system administration
? Experience working with project requirements

? Experience with Salesforce.com, Netsuite, and/or Marketo helpful
? Results-oriented with demonstrated leadership skills.
? Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
? Must possess and have proven problem resolution skills.
? Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task.
? Capable of working with minimal supervision.
? Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers and management in sales and marketing
? Ability to retain and protect confidential material.
? Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
? Self motivated willingness to learn and self teach.
? Ability to work with and protect confidential information required.
