Assess existing processes and identify areas of improvement and provide solutions for the existing systems.
Document and analyze work processes to improve process flow and process control
Identify and implement process/product improvement alternatives to increase/optimize yield, efficiency, throughput, and/or performance.
Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to meet quality assurance standards
Create MPI (Manufacturing Process Instructions)
Generate detailed reports and specifications documenting all experiment and process findings and procedures
Define manufacturing and test processes for NPI (New Product Introduction)
Analyzes need for new product development and develops process to meet needs including if need specification, ordering and installing new equipment or processes
Working with design engineering, develop, validate, document and improve manufacturing processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for any customer complaints or process failures that occur.
Support root cause investigations, perform technical assessments of process issues, investigations for process exceptions.
Identifies project resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
B.S. degree in Computer, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 or more years experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in servers appliance
Familiar with manufacturing environment
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Self-starter, someone who can provide process leadership and support for all objectives.
Strong project management and organizational planning skills
Ability to work in a team environment, have excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and customer service skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Project
Must be willing to travel to vendors, or supplier facilities
