The Marketing Development Strategist is responsible for creating winning ideas and proposals that leverage the LivingSocial advertising and events platform to achieve remarkable results for national brands. This candidate will report to the Director of Marketing Development and work closely with Regional Vice Presidents and Account Directors to identify advertising/sponsorship opportunities for prospective clients based on a thorough knowledge of LivingSocial?s products and capabilities and a keen understanding of the client?s business and marketing challenges. Successful team members will thrive on working at a rapid pace to craft unique programs that are highly creative and analytically sound.
? Lead the ideation and development of unique yet executable strategies and tactics for national advertising and event sponsorship opportunities
? Collaborate with internal teams, strategic partners and prospective clients to design groundbreaking programs for engaging LivingSocial members through authentically-branded experiences while meeting campaign goals and objectives
? Present new business pitches and proposals in the most captivating manner using stellar presentation skills and tools
? Develop long-term, strategic and profitable relationships with national clients and advertising partners as a client friendly creative thinker and key strategic resource at LivingSocial
? Recommend platform enhancements and new products that will enable National Sales to further meet the needs of its clients while differentiating its offerings.
? Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience with a Bachelor?s degree
? Remarkable digital or experiential marketing experience with proven track record for developing long-term, profitable relationships with top tier agency/brand clients
? Superior communication and relationship building skills with a strong willingness to work collaboratively with internal/external partners
? Ability to develop captivating presentations using digital tools such as Keynote, Pages, PowerPoint and present ideas in an engaging and compelling manner either remotely by phone or in-person at pitch meetings
? Ability to strategize methods for driving brand engagement via e-commerce, live events and/or social media channels
? Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, meet aggressive deadlines without sacrificing quality and demonstrate unwavering persistence to win in a competitive marketplace
