Effectively manage and oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional initiatives of BioWorks.
Develop, establish and execute integrated marketing strategies and branding to meet organizational
objectives, with a focus on end-user customer needs and brand awareness. Directly responsible and
accountable for leading Marketing team in their achievement of their related areas of responsibilities and
goals. Responsible for their own and their department?s developing, supporting and accomplishing the
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (in order of priority)
? Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that promotes
cooperation with customers, collaborators, vendors, co-workers and management.
? Establish and implement marketing objectives and strategic plans for new and existing
products, and respond to market challenges and opportunities
? Develop detailed marketing analysis of product and market segments
? Develop and manage annual marketing budgets
? Plan advertising and promotional activities including print, online, electronic media and direct
mail, and ensure activities fall within budget
? Evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan
changes as needed
? Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
? Manage BioWorks web site:
- Responsible for all content and overall look and function of site
- Supervise web designer on any navigation, design, content changes or added features
? Oversee all BioWorks electronic communications programs and database management
including BioWorks Bulletin e-newsletter, and special announcements
? Direct ad agency in creative development and production of all sales/promotional literature,
collateral and campaign material
? Develop, communicate and train for unique selling propositions for all (new and existing)
? Manage the development and maintenance of BioWorks? consumer e-commerce website
including content improvements and all marketing strategies and initiatives to drive traffic to
website and grow sales
? Establish and manage public relations program and activities
? Manage full execution of national trade shows for reservations, promotions, materials
? Manage all literature printing activities including print on demand website for sales team
? Responsible for establishing and maintaining a consistent corporate image throughout all
product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Essential Qualifications - Education, Experience, Skills: (in order of importance)
? Bachelors degree in marketing or communications or equivalent job experience.
? Minimum 5 years experience in marketing including all aspects of developing and maintaining
integrated marketing strategies
? Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet
? Proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
? Ability to consistently exercise discretion and judgment
? Excellent creative skills
? Ability to effectively manage relationships with outside agencies (ad and creative agencies,
graphic designers, etc.)
? Ability to manage and work well with people (direct reports, internal/external customers and
