-You are -the person- who will create, manage and execute our marcomm plan.
-You think it's fun to coordinate and implement company events (i.e. press conferences, media and special events, etc.)
-You're obsessed with seeing our name in print. Your job includes securing coverage like a boss, across all different media channels. Ideally you've done it before, but if you haven't - here's what we're looking for: coverage online mostly, but mobile, print, and TV are a huge plus). This requires proactive outreach to media outlets. Meaning, if you don't have contacts already, you have to cold call until you do.
-You own media relations. This includes maintaining internal marketing and our press contacts distribution list.
-You assist in coordinating and executing social media campaigns and promotions. Like Facebook? Twitter? Instagram? Tumblr? Pinterest? Good. Depending on experience/interest, this type of outreach could be one more thing you own.
-You are almost inhumanly enthusiastic, have excellent oral/written communication skills, demonstrate strong analytical and time management skills, and are exceptional at multi-tasking.
-You?re a people-person with an outgoing personality who isn?t afraid to cold call the editor at the NY Times. Seriously.
