National Channel Manager Tango Networks
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The National Channel Manager has responsibilities to identify, recruit, train, and develop new partners and resellers in North America. Key deliverables include:
Develop an overall business plan to achieve performance goals
Drive revenue while identifying and qualifying opportunities
Engage in the design and quote process
Establish and maintain an excellent ongoing relationship with corporate partners and resellers
The National Channel Manager will have in-depth market knowledge of channel tactics and strategy and have relationships with owners and senior influencers within the enterprise channel. The National Channel Manager continuously strives to improve the business relationship; proactively offer consultative advice to partners and resellers on how to sell Tango Networks? solutions. This role will work closely with the service provider Sales Managers and Business Development Managers along with Operations, Marketing, Services and Training and carries the channel quota for North America.
A minimum of seven years of experience in channel sales
Knowledge of enterprise indirect channels: distribution, direct VARs, indirect VARs
Experience in the Cisco partner ecosystem a strong plus
Strong knowledge of Unified Communications
Knowledge of mobility and mobile networks a plus
Consistent track record of driving sales volume through channels
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota as well as accurately forecasting account and volume activities.
Experience in developing and implementing channel strategies
Leadership skills: aggressive in achieving results, while collaborating and communicating effectively with other members of the team
Experience accomplishing goals in a matrix environment
Knowledge and experience maximizing involvement of support organizations, fostering a team environment
Startup experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong industry and customer relationships
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent
Proven track record of developing significant long term relationships and motivating senior executives to achieve desired results
Analytical skills. Highly analytical with ability to synthesize complex business issues and dynamics into simply understood terms.
Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. High energy individual that brings a sense of urgency to the mission.
