Telerik is looking to hire an Office and Travel Administrator to join our team based in Waltham, MA. This person will be responsible for ensuring the daily functions of the office are running smoothly. The ideal candidate is someone who is outgoing, detail-oriented, and has a strong desire to assist others.
If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as an Office and Travel Administrator:
? Organized the office layout and maintained supplies within the budgeted guidelines
? Maintained the condition of the office and arranged for necessary repairs with the building managers
? Performed administrative functions such as mail delivery and receipt, document preparation, ordered office supplies, etc.
? Worked with employees on booking their travel both domestic and internationally, processed necessary travel paperwork, and assisted visa requests
? Assisted the Team Lead with forecasting the office budget on a quarterly basis
? Negotiated with vendors on securing competitive rates
? Maintained a travel calendar to keep up to date on where/when employees are traveling
? Informed staff members on a variety of issues such as visas, licenses, security, documentation procedures and practices, administrative procedures, etc.
? Assisted with the logistics of planning a meeting (i.e. reserving conference space, booking hotel rooms, arranging for meals)
You will be the person who has:
? Good planning and organizational skills
? Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
? Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or other relevant field is a plus
? One to two years? experience in a travel assistant and/or administrative position
? Detail oriented and organized
? Down-to-earth and friendly personality
? Knowledge of visa issuing and travel arrangement experience is considered an advantage
