Providing top-notch support to our awesome customers. You'll do this through our community forums, social media (Twitter, Facebook, and Google+), and email. You'll also write guides, articles, and blog posts to keep people up-to-date and well informed.
What you can expect
We work hard, but we have fun. We'll watch YouTube videos, talk smack, and consume alcoholic beverages during happy hours. Though, not necessarily in that order. You'll wear jeans to work, consume preposterous amounts of coffee (our tab), and devour delicious catered lunches. You'll get some cheesy start-up swag, flexible working hours, a MacBook Air, and whatever else you need to get your job done. You're free to bring the dog to work, too. We like dogs.
You'll enjoy smart colleagues, ridiculous health benefits, and a competitive salary based on experience. And we're fantastically located on Castro Street in Mountain View, close to Caltrain, entertainment, and good eats.
What you bring to the table
You're smart and know how to hustle. Many hats look good on you. You have a solid customer service and support background, preferably at some sort of Internet or cloud-based (SaaS) company. You have extensive experience troubleshooting and supporting Internet-based applications. You know how to use Twitter and Facebook, and you're totally comfortable with talking to people (publicly) on the Internet. In other words, you're a people person with impeccable communication skills.
You should be intimately familiar with Windows and OSX. You know what makes an operating system tick. You understand firewalls, proxy servers, VMWare, TCP/IP, and load balancers. You're comfortable in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and something that rhymes with Minternet Flexplorer. It would be awesome if you are familiar with Zendesk, our help desk platform.
Oh, and you should be local to the area.
