In order to deliver the best experiences for our consumers and merchants, we?re looking to hire an Operations Manager; 918 F St. This person will be an integral part of LivingSocial?s 918 team; working with some of the most popular and desirable local businesses as well as with our current 918 F Street staff!
Serve as the building shift manager?responsible for all events, staff, consumers and merchants within the building at designated times
Serve as the emergency responder, handling any safety issues that arrives
Direct and oversee the execution of all events, ensuring highest quality consumer and merchant experience
Greet and direct customers to their scheduled classes
Resolve any scheduling conflicts or merchant inquires
Support all event staff and improve any inefficiencies in the set-up or break-down of events
Maintain appearance of internal and external building
Support office and event-specific deliveries
Provide building tours
Work directly with merchants, operators and key partners
Engage, educate, and support our customers
Take a lead role in resolving customer complaints
Be well versed in all LivingSocial products and ventures and be prepared to appropriately sell future events to consumers
Build strong consumer relationships and promote positive brand identity and awareness
The ideal candidate will act as an ambassador of the LivingSocial brand both in action, initiative, leadership, training & development and community relations
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2 years experience in a consumer-facing, customer service roles
Management experience preferred
Solution oriented, experience in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding communication skills and great professional presence
Proven track record of excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments
An absurd attention to detail
Demonstrated social leadership in various facets of life
Ability to be "on" for a full day or weekend
Flexibility ? ability to navigate an ever-changing environment
Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Familiarity with browser-based tools
Willingness to work evenings and weekends
