Audits route to verify customer service levels. Reports route discrepancies to the Operations Manager and Customer Service Manager.
Contacts customers to clarify current service options or resolve service-related issues through a combination of telephone and in-person communications.
Assist the Operations Manager with route maintenance and sequencing activities to ensure route optimization.
Performs dispatch duties which include: Scheduling service and assigning drivers for special pick-ups, reassignment and arranging alternate coverage in case of employee absences or equipment failure. Creates and closes work order tickets.
Effectively communicates and relays information ith drivers, mechanics, supervisors, managers and customer service.
Records schedules and hours worked by employees.
Assists the Maintenance department in the procurement of parts and supplies by generating purchase orders, following up with vendors as needed, and entering repair orders on the fleet maintenance system.
Maintains appropriate records, prepares requested reports and performs other related clerical duties.
Supports the company?s outreach efforts by working with and supporting the Waste Zero Specialist with community events.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Two years of customer service and clerical experience.
Bachelor's degree may substitute years of experience
