The Rewards Coordinator reports to the Senior Director, Rewards and is responsible for signing partnerships with local merchants in cities across North America. The Rewards Coordinator responsibilities include building a market by identifying opportunities, warming leads and calling on the target local businesses that make each city unique, then negotiating exclusive rewards and offers for Recyclebank members.
Make a high volume of targeted outbound sales calls to a variety of local business owners across multiple cities in the US.
Leverage online resources to understand target markets and build a pipeline of potential leads in relevant local rewards categories.
Set up phone meetings with qualified prospects, educate clients on the benefits of online advertising and present Recyclebank as a unique way for businesses to connect with customers in their city.
Develop and manage your own leads and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
Communicate ongoing contact and sales activities utilizing Salesforce.com.
Work in concert with Regional Account Managers to develop and maintain markets while prospecting regional businesses.
Present Recyclebank as a unique way for businesses to acquire new customers.
Candidate must have proven success in sales / business development. The ideal candidate is passionate about our business, enjoys interacting with people from across the country and has the ability to thrive in a fast-growing start up environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
An ability to sell over the phone and cold call various types of local businesses.
Outgoing and personable with excellent communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
A good understanding of local search, online advertising and social networking.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a constantly changing environment
Entrepreneurially inclined with a desire to work in a start-up environment
Bilingual Spanish a plus
1-4 years of experience in inside sales
