PR Coordinator Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Yelp is looking for a detail oriented team player to join our New York office to help support our rapidly growing communications team. The right candidate will be someone who embraces the challenge of rolling up their sleeves and diving right into team projects, is passionate about our vision and is excited to jumpstart a career in communications. This role is all about PR basics. You'll be on the frontlines for the company managing incoming inquiries, participating in social media efforts, researching media outlets, speaker's bureau planning and drafting press materials.

Organized. We're talking 'Type A', obsessive attention to details Public Relations
Agency or in-house - minimum of 1 year of experience of consumer tech PR
Social media wiz. Love it. Live for it. Know the ins and outs of it. All day, every day.
Interpersonal savvy. Ability to work effectively work with numerous remote colleagues effectively
Tactical. Able to prioritize and manage high volume of press inquiries without breaking a sweat
Event planner. Conceptualize, negotiate, wrangle, plan and execute cool, fun and buzz-worthy media tours/events
About the job:
Publicize marketing campaigns and support media outreach at the local level
Prioritize and manage all inbound media requests
Provide support to our community management team on corporate communications initiatives
Manage the master media list for the U.S.
Monitor and execute social media campaigns
Research and develop a master media archive
Other necessary requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or liberal arts
Skill with MS Word, PowerPoint and MS Excel
Interviewees will be expected to complete a writing assignment
