Under direction of the Sr. Director of Solution Services, the Pre/Post Sales Engineer/Solution Architect, will be a key technical contact for prospective accounts, providing product and technical sales support to TOA?s sales teams. This individual must have a solid technical background (preferably in defining business and system requirements needed for SaaS software implementation and/or telecommunication and cable operations experience) and must also be enthusiastic, persuasive, self-confident, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to present the company?s solution to C-level decision-making teams. The SE/SA will participate in almost every aspect of the sales process and assist in qualifying opportunities for appropriate technical fit, assess the customer?s business needs, and then participate in the presentation of a solution that meets the customer?s requirements.
Using a consultative approach, the SE/SA will cultivate customer relationships, manage expectations and communicate comprehensive solutions that best leverage the value that TOA?s technology brings to the customer. The Sales Engineer will be the ?go-to? technical member of the team who, working closely with the sales team, will build the initial momentum for TOA?s products.
Participate as a member of the sales team to meet with customer representatives and to assist them in identifying and assessing its business and system requirements.
Prepare and deliver face-to-face or web-based professional software demonstrations, presentations and product briefings to C-level decision-making customer team.
Assist sales team in writing, preparation and delivery of solution proposals, RFIs, and RFPs to the customer.
Assist potential customers with software evaluations and proof of concepts.
Serve as liaison between the sales, technical and support teams.
Provide customer training and participate in initial implementations.
Assume a leadership role with our team in supporting our technical efforts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
A Bachelor?s degree in a related discipline.
Five or more years experience in an enterprise software pre-sales, post-sales or related role (preferably with SaaS software products).
Strong technical understanding of software implementation.
Strong presentation skills and experience to be able to assist in sales presentations to C-level groups.
Keen desire and enthusiasm to assist prospects in understanding the value proposition of the technology and helping customers improve their business processes.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills a must.
Knowledge of and experience in SaaS-based mobile workforce applications is a plus.
