Our emerging technologies group in Denver, CO is seeking a Product Manager supporting key clients and the development and deployment of application software products. The Product Manager will work with internal and external clients to define and manage new product and feature development. The Product Manager position requires proficiency in an array of functional areas, including: development of specifications, project planning and communication, application testing and troubleshooting, database/SQL data management, and client account management.
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing on-going external client relationships and product features;
Troubleshooting client issues via internal tools including XML logs and SQL databases
Developing functional requirements based on identified requirements from internal and external clients
Working with the project team to manage product lifecycle;
Assisting with product launches via business review testing and specification sign off
The qualified candidate will be a fast learner, possess a dynamic personality, and be adaptive to a small team environment. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of business savvy for handling key external clients and technical knowledge for working with internal QA and Development teams to translate client needs into application requirements. Candidate needs to be comfortable working with an office dog.
The qualified candidate will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field with 4+ years experience working in the software industry.
Be self-motivated, hard working, outgoing, eager to learn, and interested in the communications and retail industries.
Have experience in managing key accounts, and be comfortable in communicating complex requirements both within and outside of the organization.
Be familiar (at least in concept) with basic web programming languages and protocols such as HTML, XML, Java, and HTTPS
Working knowledge of database schemas and query language (SQL)
