Product Manager Rover
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Rover.com is looking for a disciplined and user-focused Product Manager who?s ready to create product requirements, manage projects and lead initiatives across our design, marketing and development teams. This position will focus on our sitter community and will also take on functional ownership of our customer research efforts.
In particular, your responsibilities will include:
Create product specs for Rover.com to support the business strategy.
Manage projects and features from requirements to development and launch.
Clearly articulate and write product requirements. These requirements will be based on feedback from customers, your industry experience, and business objectives.
Oversee QA and documentation for current and new features and maintain plan for ongoing product improvements.
Monitor user feedback and validate/document bugs and site issues.
Assist in monitoring and optimizing conversion and other key performance metrics, including analytics reporting and conducting A/B testing.
Develop projects plans, including resource allocation and technical requirements.
Conduct competitive and usability research as appropriate.
Meet with stakeholders and senior management to maintain global priorities and product roadmap both short and long-term.
Help maintain brand guidelines and champion consistent/best practices.
EDUCATION: BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: 2-4+ years of experience in product management, including documenting and delivering web, mobile and internal admin product features for consumer facing websites.
Experience working across each step of the web development life cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, maintenance).
Experience writing requirements for and working in an agile/SCRUM environment.
Strong project management skills.
Demonstrated success delivering and maintaining features for large/active websitesExperience working directly with developers, including creating product spec that is both user-focused and technically literate.
Ability to translate business concepts into detailed and functional product requirements.
Incredibly organized, hands-on, team player with an excellent attention to detail.
Must be a self-directed individual, with a strong sense of ownership and a ?get things done? attitude.
