The TripIt team has built a service unlike any that have come before it in the online travel space. Now it's time to take it to the next level, and to do that we need you. The Product Manager is responsible for defining the TripIt product strategy for new business lines, globalization and innovation.
You?ll be responsible for overall product success, including identifying customer needs, determining strategy, and defining and delivering on success metrics.
The Product Manager reports to the Product Director.
Define and understand target customers
Define product positioning
Identify new product opportunities
Communicate product strategy to team
Analyze data to identify performance improvement opportunities?
Monitor competition and relative positioning
Perform high level scoping of product initiatives
Develop business cases for product initiatives
Champion product initiatives within organization
Work with R & D to ensure product meets vision
Act as primary go-to person for all product-related business issues
Own product results
Obsess over health of business
Identify any issue important to business success and ensure it?s being addressed
Develop product goals, plan for year
Define product KPIs
Measure, report project impacts against expected business cases
Report on overall product performance and forecast against plan
Education, Experience & Training required:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
5+ years as Product Manager
