Product Manager: User Acquisition ngmoco

DeNA is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help bring in users for Mobage, a growing worldwide mobile social gaming platform. The Product Manager: User Acquisition will work closely with engineering, marketing and player relationships to help increase the number of people joining and playing in Mobage. This person will help determine requirements for features, build and communicate roadmaps and evangelize the product to internal teams.
This position is a rare opportunity to join a team of product managers, UX designers and engineers building a cutting-edge product offering and software system. This role is a great fit for someone who excels at understanding deep technical concepts & software system infrastructure and designing a simple customer experience that takes advantage of it.
Own the product life cycle for User Acquisition features from idea conception to post-production support. These features include: Registration & Login Funnels, Cross-promotion, Ad channel optimization, User retention.
Drive needs assessment and curate product requests across Marketing, Game Studios, Player Relationships
Define and document product specifications with Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers
Benchmark Mobage?s product offering against industry competition and focus the roadmap on competitive offerings that exceeds industry expectations and leverage our technology stack
Decide prioritization based on product desirability and feasibility (ROI), and continuously manage backlog
Support Project Manager with execution to uphold quality standard and meet date commitments
Define success metrics for features and analyze performance to inform iterative optimization; Master an understanding of a feature?s relationship to LTV; Analyze feature performance on a user-cohorted basis
Foster team accountability to OKRs and present OKR updates to Product team and VP Platform
Own messaging to external stakeholders about product offering
5-7 years product and project management experience working on large-scale web-based software projects. Experience with social platforms is a huge plus.
Excellent leadership skills along with a customer service personality, ability to create action via influence, and the ability to develop strong working relationships inside and outside ngmoco.
Expertise explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams.
Proven track record of delivering excellent work while multi-tasking in a competitive, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Proven success in cross group collaboration, defining ambiguous problems and creating solutions.
B.S. in Computer Science or Statistics strongly preferred.
Fluency English and Japanese is a plus.
