The Product Marketing Manager will contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the product marketing function for Undertone?s suite of high impact advertising products and targeting capabilities. You will be responsible for crafting product messaging and positioning, developing the go-to-market strategy for new products and services and conceiving/developing innovative marketing programs that will help drive market awareness and demand. The ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.
Product messaging - define product-level and feature-level messaging platforms to be used by Marketing and PR to inform outbound communications programs.
Develop differentiated, defensible positioning for our product suite in support of the Undertone corporate brand
Sales enablement ? communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
Product launch ? oversee the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan, including definition of product launch readiness and success metrics in coordination with key stakeholders across the organization.
Market intelligence ? be an expert on digital media buyers, how and why they buy; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
Demand generation ? develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Partner closely with Product Management, Development and Marketing to deliver against the stated marketing strategy.
3+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field- facing role
5+ years in the digital advertising landscape with a strong grasp of the competitive landscape, existing and emerging ad units, ad serving capabilities and campaign measurement and insights methodologies
BA/BS in business or marketing
Very strong written communication skills
Skilled at aggregating multiple sources of data and research and consolidating them into a supported business case for new products and solutions.
Excellent people and management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, clients and partners
Strong project management skills
Ability to interpret a complex competitive landscape and effectively prioritize the programs that will deliver the greatest impact
