We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our HR team. The Recruiter will manage a full-cycle of staffing needs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a high desire for excellence. Working closely with the Director of Human Resources, the Recruiter will manage the behavior-based interviewing program (training, teaching, and collaborating with hiring managers to ensure the best hiring matches), as well as maximizing the recruiting program (which includes our COMPAS applicant tracking system).
Manage full-cycle staffing function in a fast-paced environment
Create a pipeline of qualified candidates for bi-coastal company
Manage career internal and external websites using our COMPAS Applicant Tracking System
Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to develop recruiting pipeline
Utilize "outside the box" recruiting techniques to source candidates through the use of the internet, social media and other on-line resources
Identify qualified applicants, conduct screening interviews, coordinate onsite interviews
Develop and expand knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and top talent
Manage any and all external recruiting resources effectively
Facilitate on-site interview process to ensure all interviewees feel right at home
Develop and launch a company-wide Internship program
Skills and Requirements:
Self-directed and detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the company's reputation and success.
Demonstrated ability to manage the full life-cycle recruitment process and implement a wide range of staffing programs, including: cold calling, candidate ?mining? (in LinkedIn), network building, phone screening, in person interviewing, reference checks, negotiating offers, and rejecting candidates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
Ability to sell the company and build relationships with prospects and candidates; monitor in-person interviews to ensure candidate has positive experience.
Teamwork skills are a must.
Solid computer skills including all major office programs (Especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems. Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly.
Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage time efficiently.
Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
Knowledge of EEO, ADA and all federal and state employment laws.
Minimum 2 years of proven recruiting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the internet industry.
Experience sourcing, recruiting and hiring diverse roles in Internet company, including engineers, content editors, SEO, SEM, Advertising Operations, Advertising Sales Directors, Sales, etc.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Experience in sourcing and search methods for both passive and active candidates, plus a knack to attract and develop leads
Knowledge of effective use of search engines, job sites, social networks, and other search tools
