Regional Vice President of Sales TubeMogul
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Be an early and important member of the TubeMogul sales executive leadership team. TubeMogul is the leading programmatic video advertising platform for the world?s largest brands, agencies, publishers and ad networks.
We are currently looking for a proven, tactical and strategic Regional Vice President with knowledge of ad technology and digital media and solid business and team building experience. This person will lead a highly visible and motivated team of Sales Directors and Account Executives who are tasked with driving significant new business and existing account growing within the region. You'll be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan for Sales to achieve corporate objectives. Ideal candidates should possess solid advertising technology and digital media sales and management history. Candidate must be able to drive major account sales efforts. Candidates must be highly motivated, possess outstanding communication skills, have demonstrated knowledge of online advertising and be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and growing environment.
The Regional Vice President will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will work closely with the executive leadership team. The position requires light travel to our Emeryville headquarters, and other cities throughout the central region.
The qualified candidate will possess:
Proven experience in managing complex, multi-faceted sales situations with client executives.
Supporting direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings with advertising and agencies. Engaging other corporate resources as required.
Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Drive relationship building process at multiple levels between partner and TubeMogul, including at the senior executive level
Ongoing mentoring and development of the Commercial sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Reps on salesforce.com sales process
Work with internal teams to ensure organizational understanding of partner product strategy and needs
Analyze performance of the regional business, major accounts and report results
Lead complex contract negotiations
A BS/BA is required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
Digital advertising technology and media sales expertise; experience selling TV a plus
Minimum of 10 years of business building, team building, business development and strategic partnerships building direct client relationships
Prior experience in high-growth internet or advertising technology company preferred
Excellent leadership, prioritization, communication, analytic and quantitative skills
Excellent executive-level presentation and listening skills
Self-starter with passion for customer-focused, rapidly changing and largely undefined industry
Keen attention to detail and ability to see the endgame of each business opportunity
Ability to build relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
Strong propensity to take initiative and thrive on change
Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global teams toward mutual objectives
Strong facility for negotiating contracts, interpreting legal documents, and working with attorneys to complete agreements
