RealMed, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a leading Internet-based portal that connects healthcare providers to healthcare payers and offers innovative eligibility and claims resolution services to providers.
An Account Executive position, located in the Atlantic Coast region, Northeastern states is responsible for developing relationships with and selling the RealMed/Availty products to both small and large multi-physician groups, clinics and practice management organizations.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years solution sales experience in a provider market, a proven record of success and established relationships within the physician (required) and hospital (preferred) provider community. This individual must also possess a strong competitive desire, prior experience preparing and delivering formal proposals/presentations, the ability to make decisions independently, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills. Knowledge of practice management systems, medical insurance, health care information systems and medical billing is essential. The ideal candidate would come from a practice management environment.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience selling business office software or related solutions into multi-physician practices, ancillary providers, billing services and provider markets.
Prior experience writing, developing and presenting written proposals and presentations.
Proven track record of building successful relationships in the Illinois provider community and related sales successes.
Working knowledge of the revenue cycle in a practice management environment, electronic professional fee billing, collections, electronic cash posting, practice management systems and HIPAA transactions standards is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited university.
Ownership of a car, possession of a valid drivers license and the ability to travel to prospective customers throughout the day/week. Ability to do occasional overnight travel once or twice a month for one or two days at a time.
