Sales Executive Alacra
The Sales Executive will develop and close new business, while managing and retaining an existing territory of Alacra accounts in the banking, accounting, legal, insurance and management consulting industries. The focus of the effort will be to concentrate on Alacra's primary "solutions" offerings of Compliance and Concordance. Compliance applications center on the areas of KYC (Know Your Client), AML (Anti Money Laundering), and customer "on boarding" in the banking industry. Concordance focuses on reference data/entity mapping software solutions. The Sales Executive will also represent the full complement of Alacra's subscription products in the assigned territory.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of outperforming his/her sales targets. They will have existing contacts in, and knowledge of, the compliance and/or reference data space, and will keep themselves current with legislation and statutory requirements that impact the market.
Role Objectives and Responsibilities:
Prospect into both existing accounts and prospects, build a strong pipeline, and deliver revenue by managing sales cycles through close to delivery.
Lead all client meetings and presentations as required, co-ordinate and brief all other Alacra personnel involved in the sales process, and write professional proposals.
Communicate with all relevant levels within client/prospect base including Senior Reference Data, Enterprise Architects, Information Management, IT and Compliance professionals to identify their workflow needs, translate them into pipeline opportunities and then manage the client and internal resources through to a successful sale.
Maintain strong internal relationship with Account Managers ensuring an effective, consistent and unified service within Alacra accounts.
Interface with Alacra project management, technical resources and any other internal resources required to facilitate the design, implementation and smooth rollout of appropriate solutions within the client base.
Maintain a working knowledge of Alacra products and services. Keep abreast of tracking changes in the marketplace as regulatory drivers, market challenges and technology develop.
Demonstrate effective team work and keep Alacra management fully informed on Account opportunities.
Document all activity and lead generation within salesforce.com.
Minimum 7+ year proven track record successfully selling solutions into new clients.
Solid working knowledge of the Compliance and/or Reference Data marketplace, including market regulations and financial information suppliers and products.
Energetic, self starter with the drive to oversee a complex sales cycle through from start to finish.
Management and influencing skills, particularly across client accounts, teams and locations.
Track record as an effective team player, displaying strong flexibility conducive to working in a busy sales environment.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally.
Excellent listening skills, with ability to quickly interpret client needs and workflow functions into potential solutions during a sales call.
Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory.
