Sales/Production Engineer Nakina Systems Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Sales Engineering team is responsible for providing technical leadership during the sales and delivery phases of the customer engagement lifecycle. The solutions consist of a suite of major software solutions in the Tier 1 service provider network management space, including security, configuration management including auditing, and multi-vendor network Management domains.
As a Sales and Production Engineering your responsibilities will include:
Being involved in pre-sales and post-sales customer opportunities on a daily basis, responding the customer queries, and communicating effectively internally as well as externally to drive the resolution of the issues.
Provide primary technical sales support for assigned accounts.
Become an expert on the Nakina solution suite, capable of installing, doing some troubleshooting and helping the customer understand the suite.
Involved in the setup of the customer installations, Proof of Concept systems and Demo systems.
Work with the sales and business development teams to acquire new service provider customers and partners by providing presales technical support and demos.
Project manage deliverables to ensure that the customer is acquired and satisfied.
Coordinate the efforts of other organizations as required to properly support the sales effort
Provide and manage product demonstrations
Support RFP responses and coordinate with appropriate internal teams
3-5 years experience debugging and troubleshooting skills in a multi-tiered environment/platform
Experience dealing with end customers directly
A Bachelors of Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal/team skills
Demonstrable complex problem solving skills
Unix, Linux, software installation experience
Knowledge of network management, network operations, and network engineering/planning.
Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of working with minimal supervision for the successful and on-time delivery of in-service solutions, blending complex technical and project management understanding with business requirements and metrics.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, and comprising both base and success-based components.
Location: Flexible, but optimally near key customers or existing Nakina centers (Austin - TX, Dallas - TX, Washington DC, Atlanta - GA, Newark - NJ).
