Salesforce.com Developer Consultant
We are actively seeking a talented senior Salesforce.com developer and administrator to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for being a key developer/admin within the company?s Salesforce CRM development team.
Responsible for developing and maintaining functional areas of data management, forecasting, accounts, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, quotes, dashboards and reports etc.
Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts, templates, and campaigns.
Develop and maintain VisualForce, AppExchange, Salesorce.com pages and integration to other third party solutions.
Integrate data from multiple external sources and leverage that within CRM environment.
Extracting data from CRM system into external analytical platform for data analysis.
Manage Salesforce.com CRM application.
Manage multiple user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations.
Partner with business analyst to understand business processes, data requirements and how the data flows through the systems.
Thoroughly understand technical environment and business requirements.
Design, code and implement the best solution for customer?s needs.
Ability to recommend alternative solution choices, determining trade-offs and impact analysis.
Independently perform development, testing, implementation, documentation and updating as it relates to the SalesForce.com software and system administration.
Design and perform system integrations.
Perform quality assurance and unit testing on deliverables and work products.
Partner with external consultants and development teams for solution design, programming and development work.
Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations.
Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective.
Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Salesforce Developer Certification preferred.
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 7 years of overall IT development experience with at least 3+ years of experience in Salesforce.com, VisualForce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Apex Triggers, Apex Web services and APIs.
Advanced Salesforce user and administrator skills (including using permissions, roles, profile, queues, security setup, views, and page layouts).
Previous experience opening and managing Salesforce.com bugs (troubleshooting, etc.)
In-depth understanding of capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with good understanding of the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, etc.).
Solid understanding of the SFDC Data model and Data Architecture, Configuration, Apex coding, Visual Force, Web Services and Data Management.
Must be a confident, self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.
Experience in building Salesforce.com integrations, testing, and production environments using Enterprise tools (e.g. Eclipse etc.)
Experience with enterprise-level integrations involving business-critical systems.
Experience in delivering IT solutions using Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.
Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem.
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems.
Experience in thinking through problems creatively.
