Oildex, a service of Transzap, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive. The primary objective of this position is to sell Oil & gas business applications/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers in the United States. The focus of this position will be on oil & gas companies in the ?Eastern Region? which includes Houston, the entire Gulf Coast to the eastern seaboard. Candidate must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Manage a geographic sales territory, effective pursuit prioritization, qualification, pipeline development, opportunity planning, deal forecasting, internal resource allocation, and overall strategic selling.
Assist solution engineers to qualify solutions to new opportunities.
Successfully negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
Identify and develop strategic alignment with third party influencers and partners.
Travel may be required depending on territory within the United States (up to 60%).
Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills
Ability to penetrate new accounts and meet with key stakeholders and decision influencers
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Self-starter capable to perform with minimal supervision and work independently
Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or Oil & Gas industry IT related studies
Minimum 5-6 years field sales experience in a business software or related field within the oil and gas sector
Proven successful sales track record closing complex, multi-influencer, IT-related deals
Knowledge of Upstream oil & gas industry. Interaction with C level players and existing contacts at oil & gas companies
Strong networking skills and the ability to leverage own network of industry contacts in the different IT, Procurement, B2B, Workflow, ePayables, Finance, Well operations departments within the Upstream E&P companies
As a must having a working knowledge selling into the Oil & Gas upstream industry, understanding key processes/workflows & solutions footprints, positioning at CxO level
Have an excellent Industry and Market trends understanding
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and the ability to articulate business cases and solutions
English language fluency
