Strong Technical skills to support new initiatives to update the billing system to meet the customer/partner requirements
Maintain strong communication channels with all internal customers and partners whose responsibilities are impacted by the billing systems
Identify and communicate risks and issues along with reasonable mitigations and/or solutions to address them
Support users by troubleshooting problems and correcting errors
Lead billing system integration project for partner/customer on-boarding
Serve as Technical/Business Systems Analyst on a software development life cycle (SDLC) enterprise project, developing and maintaining the application architecture and leading proof-of-technology activities
Serve as lead Systems Analyst on the project team to plan, coordinate, analyze, design, and implement application systems and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs
Provide leadership to project teams in identifying root cause of issues and directing troubleshooting efforts
Develop Solution Architecture Models and Documentation (key project deliverables) and/or oversee and approve the creation of necessary documentation
Orchestrate overall technical activities including design reviews, defect resolution processes across project teams, test environment setup for functional testing and performance testing, test strategy review, etc.
Manage post go-live stabilization efforts and work with teams to establish operational procedures
Collaborate with the broader architecture community to provide input into IT strategies and standards
Facilitate conversations with business to drive out capability needs and outcomes
Provide leadership in the development and adherence to all application standards, application portfolio strategy, service level agreements, and processes (walkthrough and approval processes, program/system documentation, status reporting, escalation, change management, problem management, software development methodology, etc.)
Evaluate business unit and IT decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of customers and company goals and escalate as needed Provide inputs to executive level presentations for project stakeholders
Qualifications / Requirements:
Previous experience in Cable or Telecommunications industry with customer care and/or back office operations.
Previous experience as part of a team that successfully implemented a billing system conversion.
Detail-oriented & solid understanding of Quote to Cash process and Telecom Taxation
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Knowledge of NetSuite, Aria, Amdocs, BRM, BillSoft, or similar billing/ERP/Taxation platforms is highly desired.
Project Management experience, ability to influence while partnering.
Experience with E-Commerce web portals.
Strong technical skills. Candidates should understand database concepts and preferably have experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access.
Self-motivated and able to drive tasks to completion without constant support or direction.
Ability to learn complex systems, process quickly and be able to impart that knowledge to others.
