Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers,
Installing OS, configuring servers and applying patches
Monitoring applications, services and LivingSocial networks
Working and resolving trouble tickets, reporting, and documenting processes
Performing network maintenance tasks like software and hardware upgrades
Communicating with vendors and suppliers
Delivering in aggressive timelines
Working on storage, virtualization, unified fabrics, networking, and security
Providing 24 X 7 support
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN network
5+ years of hands on experience and up to date skills with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5, or other routers, switches, firewalls, VPN concentrators, load balancers
Cisco Certification - CCNP, or other vendor equivalent
Deep knowledge of IP stack and its protocols, routing (including OSPF and BGP), switching, IPSec, remote access, vrf-lite
Good network and network/application troubleshooting skills
Storage, Virtualization, Networks and Security orchestration
SNMP, NMS systems, trouble ticketing system
Great technical writing skills
Ability to comprehend and implement current and new technologies in a fast growing company
Open mind required
3-5 years of hands on experience and up to date skills with (Unix/Linux, Windows, VMWare)
Scripting (Perl, PHP, TCL), BMC
