This role is responsible for the production and publication of content on topics related to learning and talent development in a variety of mediums (courses, web, multi-media, print, etc). Minimal regional travel may be required.
Develop deep understanding of target audience content needs and preferences
Lead planning, production and publication of a variety of materials and deliverables including written, online and video
Consult with creative team to create appropriate content materials via a variety of media
Work with video production crew to design, develop, and deliver content assets
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop content to meet target audience requirements and needs
Monitor progress against project plan and provide corrective redirection if necessary; troubleshoot issues that arise during production and identify solutions to resolve
Track and analyze usage data; make recommendations to improve
Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes
Relevant HTML web application knowledge a plus
Familiarity with Graphic and digital asset management systems a plus
Monitor and coordinate the flow, layout and preparation of content assets; content will be published primarily in web format
Edit material for accuracy, style and usefulness, recommending changes where necessary
Conduct regular status meetings with Director, Member Services and other stakeholders
Provide communications team with materials needed to include in Marketing
Demonstrate client orientation and accountability
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively manage workflow in a highly creative and ambiguous environment
Demonstrated expertise with managing projects: establishing priorities, organizing others, facilitating meetings, balancing workload, tracking & reporting, meeting deadlines.
Flexible, agile, demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Demonstrated expertise with establishing and maintaining organizational relationships with a diverse group of people including internal and external subject matter experts
Business acumen and analytical skills
Intellectual curiosity and a strong willingness to learn
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to work independently
Knowledge and skills related to the mechanics of project management
Knowledge of word processing and design software a plus
A working knowledge of organization technology, including the use of e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft Office software
Education, Credentials and Experience:
Undergraduate degree required
Seven to ten years of work experience in a publishing environment or setting that required the use of project management, influencing, and organizational skills
