About the Job
The Senior Product Manager of IntraLinks? Platform Security and Integration will be responsible for defining and executing against the product strategy that ensures our leadership position. In addition to ensuing our existing platform is secure and provides a solid foundation for integrated solutions, this person will be responsible for ensuring our continued leadership position in security and for the successful introduction and growth of a partnership ecosystem.
The position will report directly to the Director of Platform Product Management and work closely with the Platform Architects, Partner Program Manager and Integration Partners (both internal and external).
About the Team
The Product Management Team works closely with the product line, directly within the market and cross functionally within the organization to identify and evaluate product opportunities and ensure their success in the market with rigorous validation and product packaging.
Work with the architecture team to identify areas to be evaluated related to building a best in class integration environment for partners
Work with architecture team to maintain and extend leadership position is security offering while paying close attention to usability
Review audit findings and prioritize product features and defect fixing. Meet with customers to explain why some findings may not be addressed when the corrective action does not align with our product direction
Identify and analyze product opportunities for their commercial impact and competitive differentiation
Identify build/buy/partner approaches, propose recommendation with supporting business case
Provide business process analysis that define problem statements, user goals and their processes that a solution or feature set will meet
Establish clear priorities for product investment
Validate and refine requirements with selected prospects and stakeholders to ensure marketability
Define product position and key messages that inform the platform roadmap
Manage product evolution via a defined roadmap that drives revenue & profitability
Define 18 month product roadmap that drives client/partner acquisition and retention
Manage/oversee product development to ensure requirements are met and within budget
Develop client/prospect working group to drive, prioritize and define product roadmap
Capture the unique needs of integration partners which include product enhancements, development environments and tools that lead to a sustainable partner infrastructure and ecosystem
Define, document, and present API capabilities and SDK usage for early stage partners, support the creation of a partner support organization
Product liaison for partnerships supporting the enterprise system integrator and application development partners
Support direct sales with key client/prospect opportunities that help establish the offering/capability in the market and support handoff to sales engineering and service
Develop positioning documents in collaboration with product marketing & marketing communications
Leverage feedback from sales as one input regarding product direction
Define/refine service level agreements and ensure a managed hand off to customer support
Be a supportive element in the company?s transition from waterfall to an agile development methodology
Help identify and correct processes that are inefficient
Take on other assignments as directed
Provide insight and advice for areas of the platform that are technical in nature
Education ? BA/BS degree with an MBA desirable
Minimum years? experience ? a minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management function
Technology - SaaS, Content Mgmt., CRM, SSO, SDKs, Encryption (x.509 Certs)
Demonstrated success in defining or leading in the definition of a market aligned product strategy
Experience working for or with large system integrators
Proven ability to quickly understand business domain needs, analyze and define related infrastructure to support those needs
This position requires a strong technical background and will be required to define requirements for the platforms APIs
This position will be required to identify and prioritize the creation of environments (including SDKs) used by partners when building integrations and targeted applications on top of the platform
Ability to take into account the business aspect when defining the product strategy
Demonstrated ability to work within the market/target client community to identify and evaluate product opportunities including understanding their commercial opportunity, competitive impact and ensuing through rigorous validation defining the minimum viable offering to realize the opportunity
Excellent written and oral communication skills including client facing engagement and presentation
Strong cross-functional team development, management and communication
Previous software as a service (SaaS) market experience
Experience working with, defining, or evaluating software development kits (SDKs)
Experience working with, defining, or evaluating application programmable interfaces (APIs)
Experience with reporting frameworks (in particular Pentaho)
