As a key member of the Engineering team, the Senior QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for independently planning, executing, and monitoring quality assurance activities for key aspects of our critical integration tool. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will work closely with internal staff to ensure appropriate test coverage for our tool that integrates our Life Suite of products with one another and with 3rd party products. This position will work with Product Management, Development, and Implementation to understand requirements, functionality and issues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with management to specify and build scalable, repeatable, best practice software development methodologies, particularly in rapid development environments. As a QA professional on our team, you will be part of a small, dynamic group which will perform automated QA testing to multiple applications that are critical to our business.
Interface with Product Management and Development teams to determine testing scope.
Analyze requirements, design and identify gaps, provide detailed testing estimates.
Review and update detailed test plans and test cases accordingly.
Lead new feature testing; train other team members as needed.
Write detailed bug reports and track bugs through their lifecycle.
Test deployment and migration scenarios.
Perform urgent testing originating from customer issues.
Maintain QA dataset as required to accommodate new feature testing.
Deploy builds to QA environments as needed.

Good verbal communication skills.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of QA automation experience a must.
Proficient knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA and release management processes and systems.
Experience with testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, system load and performance testing).
Proficiency in test automation development and maintenance.
Experience working with iterative development methodologies (RUP, XP, Agile?).
Proficiency in MS SQL.
