The Sales team at NameMedia is seeking a talented Senior Sales Executive to join our highly successful team within the Marketplace Division. The Senior Sales Executive position is responsible for successfully selling domain names from our world-renowned portfolio of 1 million + domains to inbound leads, primarily over the phone. Target clients will largely consist of, but not be limited to, small and medium sized businesses and domain investors. Our Sales Executives make excellent compensation while rarely making cold calls and only deal with highly qualified leads.
Close new business consistently at or above quota level
Operate efficiently within a fast-paced sales environment where our sales executives typically make 3-5 sales every day
Become an expert in internet marketing and develop a passion for the domain industry
Follow up aggressively on highly qualified inbound leads and calls
Build relationships with prospects and develop a channel of repeat clients to grow new business
Be a positive team player within the business; bring best in class thinking, strategies and ideas that align to our firm values, unique culture and vision for the future.
Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends when needed to field sales opportunities from all over the world.
Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently. Such experience within a start up environment is highly desired.
Candidates MUST be a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and / or, Over Quota / President?s Club type;
2-7+ years of selling experience operating within a web technologies or innovative online product environment is a plus but not a requirement
Talented communicator (written and verbal) with specific skill in quickly building rapport and initiating relationships to help in negotiating and closing sales
Experience with small business owners and online marketers is a BIG plus. It is assumed candidates have selling experience at the executive level
A bright, street savvy and emotionally intelligent sales executive
An individual who is focused on monthly/yearly goals and has a ?whatever it takes? attitude towards exceeding those goals
A high work ethic, energy, passion, sense of humor, compassion, enthusiasm and a record of success is an great fit to our environment
Superior communications skills, well rounded in all aspects of business development methodology with exceptional closing & relationship management skills
Strong skills within the following programs: MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and CRM applications such as SugarCRM or Salesforce.com.
B.A. or B.S. Degree. An M.B.A. Degree is a plus.
