Senior Solutions Engineer Streamline Health Solutions
The Senior Solutions Engineer reports to the Director, Solutions Development and is part of an agile software development team designing, writing/coding and testing solutions. He/she will function both as a team lead and an individual contributor. The Senior Software Engineer will facilitate cross departmental communications and train other associates on how to install, support and maintain the software solutions developed by the team. Additionally he/she is responsible for assessing tech feasibility, technical documentation, troubleshooting and issue resolution. For success in this role, the selected individual should genuinely enjoy working with others in a team setting and must take pride in designing solutions that will outlive the problem.
Coach and mentor entry and mid-level software engineers.
Project lead with task delegation and follow up.
Define the architecture and best practices as needed.
Analyze product requirements and estimate level of effort to write code and unit test.
Participate in defect tracking and mitigation.
Accurately document technical designs (Visio) and code (in line comments). Assist Support and Client Services with questions and issues.
Follow an Agile methodology on projects and initiatives.
Interview and participate in the selection of new software engineers.
Author & contribute to software development standards and processes.
Establish and identify tech feasibility.
Third party component evaluation & selection.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent work related experience.
6+ year(s) of software development experience, with at least 4 years of C# .Net experience.
Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Strong analytic and communication skills.
Creativity, flexibility and a TEAM Player.

Agile software development and test-driven development.
Object Oriented Development (OOD) (OOP).
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
.NET technologies; MVC, WCF, Entity Framework, WF, Win/Web Forms.
Web Services, XML.
Workflow concepts and utilizing workflow engines.
SQL (MS SQL and Oracle databases).Experience with Ajax, jQuery, HTML5, IIS a plus.
Healthcare experience and terminology is a plus.
Integration engine experience is a plus.
