Project Leadership Associates provides support to clients in an environment that gives them access to an Enterprise class level of support. Our senior technical support position will allow you to use your experience with a variety of technologies to support end user problems and enterprise systems access. This role is second shift and based out of our office in downtown Chicago.
In this role, you will be responsible for support for small and mid-size business environments - both major networking components and Desktop Identifying, scanning and cleaning of infected desktop environments, creation and testing of PC and laptop images, laptop and PC deployments/migrations, maintaining network systems backup, deployment and restoration process, and real-time ticket creation and tracking. This role will also work with system administration support and give the ability to learn Office 365 systems support.
Experience as a Call Center Responder or Ticket Responder
Experience Maintaining Tickets and Updates, status reporting, and application training
Desktop O/S: Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Desktop Applications: Office 2003-2013, Office 365, Project, Visio, Adobe, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, etc.
Knowledge in the process of implementing Windows 7 and/or 8 deployments and migrations.
Experience with integrating 3rd party applications with client desktop environment.
Experience and understanding of different VPN technologies.
Exchange 2003/2007/2010 system and user administration
Experience with Remote Control utilities such as Remote desktop, terminal services, VNC, pcAnywhere, LogMeIn, Citrix Assist.
Experience implementing and troubleshooting handheld devices such as Apple, Windows Mobile, Android and BlackBerry devices.
Experience troubleshooting both network and local printing issues.
Monitoring experience with Kaseya or N-Able preferred
Base-level administration of Windows Server (2003-2012) and Active Directory (2003-2012).
Experience documenting network and desktop environments.
Solid Background using Microsoft Office Suite.
2+ years experience in a desktop deployment, management and support position.
1+ years experience working on Network specific responsibilities (Network Administrator or equivalent).
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain follow-up procedures consistently.
Professional and courteous mannerisms while interacting with stressful client issues.
Nice to Have:
Office 365 and mail system administration experience a plus.
Experience with Desktop Applications Project and Visio.
Basic server interaction protocol.
Technical certifications (A+, Net +, Security +, Microsoft certifications, technology specific certifications, etc.) a plus
Bachelor?s Degree in Technology preferred
