The SharePoint Systems Administrator will play a key role in maintaining, enhancing and upgrading the SharePoint application as well as implementing and supporting new technology. This individual is responsible for day to day administration, configuration, and performance monitoring. Responsible for planning, managing, and executing deliverables and timelines associated with Microsoft SharePoint. Resolve issues through self-research, peer groups networks, or discussion forums. Install, configure, upgrade, and deploy applications, systems software, and products throughout platform with minimum supervision. Identify and resolve system issues proactively. Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the platform components; installs and configures patches and upgrades as required. Resolve complex issues through hands-on technical solutions, self-research, peer groups networks, or discussion forums. Own and ensure adherence of team members to systems implementation methodology.
? -Minimum 3 years of relevant IT work experience required.
? -Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or 2013 administration, including management of service applications, web applications, site collection administration and solution deployment required.
? -Minimum 3 years of experience with SharePoint 2010/2013 out of the box web parts, lists, list templates, content types, site templates, master pages, and Search service is required.
? Bachelor?s degree preferred.
? Strong written and Verbal communication skills and responsible for supporting technical and non-technical users.
? Experience in documenting effective solutions for knowledge database Ability to establish and maintain configuration management policies and procedures.
? Understands and uses PowerShell to configure SharePoint farms.
? Ability to write PowerShell scripts to automate various functions and reporting requirements.
? Understanding of SharePoint Designer for site modifications and to create/modify workflows.
? Industry experience with building, configuring and administrating multi-tier SharePoint Farms Experience with configuring
? Understanding of various ?no-code? solutions and configuration of out of box web parts to solve day to day business requirements.
? Understanding of membership providers, security models and governance as it relates to SharePoint.
? Ability to troubleshoot the User Profile Service and synchronization with Active Directory.
? Experience with SharePoint administration, virtualization and SQL administration.
? Knowledge of virtual environments (VMware, ESX, Maintaining a virtual infrastructure) Solid experience with IT systems administration in Microsoft Technologies such as managing Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Windows Server 2005/2008/2012, SQL Server 2008
? Experience working with SharePoint Content, Site/Site-Collection Structure, SP/Custom Features and SharePoint backups.
? Knowledge of SharePoint Server Architecture, Governance and Information Architecture.
? Understanding of SharePoint Search and Business Connectivity Services.
? Enterprise level SharePoint environments using Business Intelligence, PerformancePoint and PowerPivot service applications and functionality a plus
? Understanding of Microsoft ecology and how SharePoint integrates with other systems like Office, Lync, Exchange, etc.
? Ability to work with QA to test and validate that custom web parts adhere to SharePoint development best practices.
