Solution Engineer Aternity
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Solution Engineer will provide an end to end implementation of the Aternity FPI platform to variety of customers worldwide.
Deliver high quality end-to-end solution to Aternity?s worldwide customers and partners by:
Working with solution specialists/architects and with the technical account management to achieve customer success.
Being an expert on solution-specific installation and configuration of the Aternity FPI monitoring platform, including validating that the system is performing correctly & troubleshooting issues with the customer during the implementation.
Owning and delivering system configuration and scripting process.
Effectively handling escalation from support for system configuration issues.
Maintaining internal knowledge base systems (adding and reviewing knowledge base articles on an on-going basis).
5+ years of experience in system administration or 2+ years of software development ? preferably with some time in large corporate environments and some experience in working in a small team in a fast paced environment
2+ years of experience in support or implementation of database-based applications (Oracle 10, 11 (preferred), basic SQL, simple database administration).
Familiarity with XML, Regular Expressions, HTTP, HTML DOM, Windows GDI and WMI basics and with scripting languages (e.g. WSH, VB Script)
Effectively documenting the technical details of the different implementation stages as well as the details of all customer, partner, and engineering interactions in a timely fashion so that the activity relative to the implementation is current and may be easily understood by others.
Familiarity with systems monitoring, automated testing tools (such as Loadrunner, QTP etc.), and application performance management (APM) tools.
Some familiarity with corporate IT, VDI infrastructure, web applications, client-server applications, multi-tier applications architecture.
Experience with Windows internals (HIPS systems, drivers, Windows API, etc.).
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Job requires significant time spent on the phone or remote meetings with customers.
Good time-management skills.
Limited travel is required.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
