Sailthru is expanding its Solutions Consulting team and looking for Solutions Consultants to support Sailthru's growing global business on the West Coast (San Francisco, CA or Los Angeles, CA). Sailthru Solutions Consultants have the opportunity to make an immediate impact and experience ample career growth and opportunities as Sailthru continues on it's fast-paced trajectory. Based in California, this role is responsible for aligning Sailthru's solutions and technologies with prospect business goals, technical requirements and seamlessly working with Enterprise and Growth Sales Directors throughout the sales lifecycle. The West Coast Solutions Consultant will gather information for effective positioning of Sailthru's solutions to meet prospect requirements and conduct successful product demonstrations. In addition, this role will:
Provide pre sales technology consulting to prospects and clients in support of sales.
Work with customers / prospects to understand their unique business challenges and initiatives and devise solutions that align with those initiatives with Sailthru's broader Sales team.
Gather technical and business requirements in a consultative manner and take ownership of projects and opportunities, which includes technical relationship building with the prospect.
Maintain a deep technical understanding of the Sailthru platform.
Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to prove Sailthru's solutions business value to the customer.
This role is for you if you are a self-starter, as technically savvy as you are business proficient and have strong experience with behavioral analytics, personalization, email service providers and HTML. In addition, you should have knowledge and experience that includes:
5+ years technology industry experience working in field sales organizations.
Pre and/or post sales experience selling to digital marketing executives and a technical staff.
Knowledge of web analytics solutions, CRM systems and social media platforms.
Sophisticated understanding of sales process and methodologies.
Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work with geographically dispersed team members.
