Sr. Account Executive Kontera Technologies, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for growing strategic client and agency relationships in the Central Region, with a focus on the Technology and/or Retail verticals. The desired candidate is a highly motivated individual who will manage existing interactive agency and client accounts, as well as develop new business. He/she should be well established in the Technology and/or Retail verticals as well as within the Central Region/Chicago agency community. He/she must be experienced in strategic account and consultative selling, and be knowledgeable in online media and underlying technology. He/she must be comfortable selling to all levels within the Agency and client. Those who relish a small team, ?make-it-happen yourself? environment will thrive.
This position is based in Chicago.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
? Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
? Grow Kontera?s presence and increase market penetration within the assigned verticals. Evangelize Kontera and communicate the value of contextual advertising to premier agencies and brand marketers
? Engage agency decision makers at all levels
? Develop a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
? Plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients.
? Develop and execute strategic account plans
? Develop and close significant business opportunities including annual agreements
? Prospect, evaluate and identify new opportunities
? Maintain account activity information in SalesForce and accurately forecast revenue growth
? Build strong internal relationships with account managers and other support teams to smoothly execute on client campaigns and obtain renewals.
? 3 to 5+ years of online sales experience calling on agencies and clients
? Track record of achieving and exceeding goals and quotas, with proven success in consultative selling
? In-depth knowledge and contacts with top digital agencies and online advertisers, with a deep rolodex in the Technology and/or Retail verticals
? Proven track record of strategic development of Fortune 500 client base. Sold and managed at least $2 million dollars in annual online advertising spend
? Strong understanding of online branding and performance campaign models, ad campaign metrics, media industry trends, technologies and pricing models.
? Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying and planning
? Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value - not price
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Proactive, driven, self-thinker who strives for results while contributing to the team
