Responsible for creating US Dept. of Defense (non NSA) business relationships and generating sales leads with high-level contacts often through face-to-face and client site visits. Maintains an ongoing business relationships with current US Government officials and Federal Systems Integrators to facilitate future program sales
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, information systems, or marketing
10-15 years of business development or sales support experience
Excellent knowledge of all areas of business operations
Ability to resolve complex problems
Excellent knowledge of company?s products
Excellent writing, editing, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent PC skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for creating business relationships with high level contacts often through face-to-face and client site visits
Maintains positive customer relationship to maximize product/service satisfaction
Develops relationships with client through conferences dinners,outings, etc.
Acts and liaison between the company and clients
Alerts and influences clients to new or improved products/services
Relays client feedback to product development staff
Negotiates issues/requirements between company and client and develops compromises
Coordinates activities with appropriate Sales Rep or team
Works with management and sales team to identify program business and up sell opportunities
Remains knowledgeable of company?s strategies/products/services to facilitate sales efforts
Maintains Program Priority List and distributes leads to Sales Rep and team in a timely manner
