We have product in the market that is performing well with little sales effort. We are looking for a high impact inside sales executive with a technical background to join our fast growing sales team.
We have a full pipeline driven by our self-service product. You will be responsible for managing this pipeline, qualifying top opportunities, owning the customer relationship, and driving deals through the sales cycle to close.
You?ll be working with both corporate customers and some of the worlds hottest startups directly over the phone, helping them quickly adopt Twilio's cloud communication services.
Our customers are SOFTWARE ENGINEERS. You must love talking to engineers and product managers about building software. More importantly, engineers and product managers must love talking to you.
Embrace our self-service product and culture (which is what fills up the pipeline) and be 100% comfortable with catch-and-release if customers want to go it alone without your involvement.
Ideal candidate 2-7 years of technology related sales or business development experience.
We get many highly qualified prospects every day from corporations already interested in using our platform. Prospects come in via the phone, email and via our self-service product. You will shepherd these deals to close through a high velocity pipeline.
Manage the pipeline, being productive and closing business. Qualify, vet, close, repeat.
You?ve been an inside sales representative before. You?ve demonstrated success selling a software or SaaS solution. You?ve been part of a team that grew revenue exponentially.
You understand the cloud computing business model and enjoy selling to a technical audience, building mutual trust.
Experience selling a technical product or solution to a technical audience, building trust and mutual respect with technical customers and peers.

World-class interpersonal and communication skills ? you have the ability to effortlessly make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple.

Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple project/deals at the same time.
