Sr. Software Engineer GameFly
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED GameFly is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who will be responsible for development of the GameFly internal software catalogue and will participate in the planning and design of software and technology appropriate to GameFly?s needs with an emphasis on internal, back-end systems and processes. GameFly, the leading subscription video game rental service, allows members to rent one or more video games concurrently, with no due dates, late fees or shipping charges. Users can easily select from over 8,000 console/handheld titles or 1,400 PC games, and manage their list of games online from the GameFly website at www.gamefly.com, the GameFly App for iOS and Android devices, or the newly launched digital PC Client. Members receive games via First-Class Mail and return them to GameFly at their convenience using prepaid mailers. In addition to selling video games through the 'Keep' feature, GameFly also sells new and used video games.

Serve as a member of the core engineering team
Development of new software solutions
Modification and expansion of existing software solutions including bug-fixes
Interfacing with QA resources
Participation in project planning
On-call software support on a scheduled and as-needed basis
Interfacing with internal clients, project managers, and other members of the core engineering team
Working with external development and vendor resources as appropriate
BA / BS in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands-on .NET development with an emphasis on internal services and high-throughput applications
5+ years of database development using SQL server
Experience developing in C# / .NET including services using WCF, Remoting or Web Services (client and server)
Experience developing high-throughput and high-availability services and systems
Experience developing payment processing systems, including PCI compliant techniques and technologies preferred
Database development including creating and querying tables and views and developing stored procedures and user-defined functions in Microsoft SQL Server
UI development in Windows Forms .NET and / or ASP.NET
Experience with source control systems such as Team Foundation Server (preferred) or Visual Source Safe
Proven experience in developing Enterprise-level solutions including networking, services, databases and UI applications
Wide range and depth-of-experience in software development methodologies, technologies and techniques
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
Consistent history of delivering projects on-time and to specifications
