The Strategic Account Manager ? Chicago territory will report to the Senior Sales Director of North America and is responsible for selling specific software and services product solutions that address client's business needs and delivers client value. Candidate must be capable of being self- sufficient in demo and RFI/RFP delivery to clients with appropriate training from technical resources. Candidate must be a self- starter and able to operate daily operations while working remote from core team members. The candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker with broad understanding of business, sales and technology delivery and how to apply in different organizations or vertical markets. Maintains strong relationships with executives and influencers in the IT and Line of Business organizations within a set of named Integrated and Aligned accounts across various vertical markets including Communications, Financial, Healthcare, Transportation, Web and Technology. Thoroughly understands the client's business, including their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, and business issues. Collaborates with product and services team to create solutions which are tailored to client's business needs and integrates into the overall client capabilities in a way that is valued by the customer and superior to the competition. Understands and navigates organizations to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution and sponsorship for the business needs.

Proven record of quota or goal attainment
Long-term account management experience
General understanding of the mobile telecommunications market
Value based selling experience
Ability to take a consultative role within customer organizations
Identify Case Study and Reference Customers
Encourage a Customer Advisory Group (CAG) from clients to Product Management
Manage Operational Reviews with existing clients
Contribute to overall company success with collaboration with other team members
Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process.
Prospecting and growing an account list, handling incoming leads and closing sales.
Meet or exceed annual sales targets;
Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars, telemarketing events and user group meetings;
Produce monthly sales reports;
Identify and make contact with potential customers;
Respond to sales requirements from existing and potential customers;
Maintain contact with existing and potential customers to promote sales and deliver detailed account plans;
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned;
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts;
Monitor and report on the activities of competitors and potential collaborators and to identify business opportunities and threats
Experience selling enterprise software solutions to financial institutions
Sales experience with test automation framework
Mobile industry experience is a big plus
Excellent communication, customer service and writing skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical issues, with good presentation skills.
Self-motivated and adaptable to be able to work with minimal supervision and sales support.
Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues.
Minimum of 10 years experience in a sales capacity in the mobile industry or financial industry.
5+ years related technical experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college/university
