As a Strategic Alliances Account Executive based in our San Mateo, CA office, you will own the entire business development/sales life-cycle: identifying prospects, assessing short and long-term opportunities, cultivating relationships, and closing deals. Experience with enterprise and/or OEM software business development strategies, as well as financial modeling and the shaping of large, complex deals will further demonstrate your fit for this creative, highly-visible role. Critical to your long-term success will be your ability to develop strategic relationships with your target clients, finding avenues for Webroot products and services to become indispensable components of our clients' offerings.
You'll tap into your keen abilities to learn technology and master the value proposition pitch for our suite of products as you will continuously build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Webroot?s products, partners and markets. Exposure to technologies within security products (firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection, content security, and anti-SPAM technologies) is also desired. Your highly tuned organization skills and meticulous attention to detail will be utilized to develop advanced account strategies, build account maps, and thoroughly manage your sales pipeline. Additionally, your expertise in the highest levels of written and verbal communication will be used to frequently correspond with internal and external clients, deliver compelling presentations at customer sites to VP and C-level executives with travel to range between 50-75%. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role that will require the creativity to customize solutions for clients and the know-how to involve the product team to be able to deliver products appropriate to partner expectations.
