The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of Operational services and programs. This position will manage, review and optimize all services currently offered, as well as, develop new programs as needs emerge. Your responsibilities cover the entire life cycle of business operations ? from development and execution of card fulfillment strategies to delivering industry-leading service to our cardholders. In addition to the team of NetSpend operational professionals, you will also manage a large network of third party providers essential to our service offering ? including banks, card and print company?s, software & hardware providers, and various other entities. At the end of the day, you are responsible for developing and executing an operational strategy that is both scalable and responsive to a rapidly growing business. This position will be based in Austin, Texas and reports directly to the President of NetSpend.
Develop all operational strategies related to Card Operations, Bank Operations, Implementations, Customer Service/Call Center and Settlement.
Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of key business objectives ? channel revenue deliverables, product development initiatives, customer experience improvements, finance/accounting projects, technology/legal priorities.
Hire, Training and Retain key talent within the Operations functions
Manage Budget and Forecast for all operational lines of business ? work with direct reports to optimize over all expenses while still delivering high quality services.
Manage sponsoring bank relationships ? manage day-to-day bank priorities, develop and execute bank diversification strategy, optimize bank economics.
Manage relationships with key vendors/providers.
Participate with leadership in all leadership strategy functions
Bachelors degree, preferred degreed emphasis in Business Administration, Business Management or Finance
Successful track record of supporting high growth business
10+ years experience in an operational role
10+ years leading teams
Strong Communication Skills
Strong Negotiation Skills
Passionate and creative problem solver
Working knowledge of Financial Services, Prepaid Debit Industry
Experience building Call Center Strategies
