The Senior Vice President will drive our Sales and Marketing teams to exceed our sales goals and continue our rapid revenue growth. By maximizing the effectiveness of the current sales team and managing our sales strategy and process, the ideal candidate will accomplish some aggressive objectives. The SVP will utilize a track record of managing teams that utilized a consultative sales approach in selling to medium and large prospects. This role reports directly to the CEO and manages a team of 7 direct reports and 25+ total employees across the Sales (B2B and B2C) and Marketing functions. Billtrust has a diverse portfolio of over 1,000 nationwide clients with international expansion on the horizon.
The ideal candidate will have:
? At least ten years of proven success in a consultative sales role preferably selling an outsourced Saas financial solution
? Previous success directing a sales team that sold to ?C? level decision-makers
? Proven people leadership skills including training, motivating and enabling a talented sales team to maximize their potential for success
? Ability to lay out the steps required in a complex sales process
? Experience in effectively monitoring and evaluating sales results, productivity levels and revenue growth within a team
? Experience in revenue forecasting and analyzing sales activity reports
? Excellent listening, writing and presenting skills
? Self-motivated, organized and energetic personality
? Willingness to travel as much as required
