THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Redfin is looking for a seasoned technical recruiter to help us find great engineers for our San Francisco office onsite on a fulltime/permanent basis. What you should bring to the table:
Personable: You know technical lingo and you've got a knack for getting people to talk to you who initially may not be interested. You've got a thousand LinkedIn connections and almost as many Facebook friends. You treat the people we don't end up hiring with respect.
Eye for talent: You listen carefully to what our teams really need and take that to identify the winning candidates quickly. You pride yourself on quality, not quantity, and you try to make the process efficient for everyone, not just yourself.
Sales-person: You really know how to sell a job, connecting the candidate with the right people in the organization and seeing the recruiting process through to the very end.
Wicked at sourcing: you?re a pro with Boolean searches, know how to use the internet to your advantage, a sleuth at finding out where the talent lives, and aren?t afraid to cold-call.
Here?s what you?ll do:
Find candidates: utilize programs put in place by our recruiting organization to attract qualified candidates with skills and behaviors we want to be successful with Redfin.
Market the company: work directly with your manager to identify local events that should be attended by you and the team, seek out additional avenues for advertising.
Screen and organize: we?ll need you to pre-screen candidates, assess whether they?re in-line with our values, and setup interviews.
Manage the pipeline: you?ll work closely with our recruiting coordinator managing candidates; you?ll need to be pro-active about keeping things organized, militant about procedure, and reliable on follow-through.
Experience: a minimum of three-years in a firm or corporate recruiting environment as a technical recruiter with a history of results & proven performance.
Smarts: you?ve got a college degree, can communicate & write well and are sharp as a tack at grasping new things.
Tech-chops: you?ve got this internet thing dialed, are familiar with online recruiting methods, blogging & forums.
