About the Position
We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our customer support team. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Foster City, CA.
Analyze and resolve complex issue associated with high ?end real time diagnostic 3D workstations and 3D streaming service.
Test and Investigate problems related to real-time volume rendering hardware engines.
Maintain a detailed log of description of the issues and remedial actions taken in resolution of them.
Generate a report and follow-up with engineering team on issues identified as bugs in the software.
Design data workflow models for customers prior to installation of the high-end 3D systems employed for medical diagnostic use.
Requires proficiency in DICOM (digital imaging and communications in medicine), which involves knowledge about DICOM standard.
Networking: Use of networking commands/tools in troubleshooting issues related to data transfer across a network.
Medical Skills: Knowledge about human anatomy and medical imaging; knowledge of advanced post processing tools for CT and MR.
Requires Masters in or related to Biomedical Engineering +12 months experience.
Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience.
