Description:The Telephone Partner Account Manager (TPAM) is responsible for achieving sales quota targets in a designated territory in cooperation with our partners. The Manager will need to be a hunter and capture mindshare of our partners to increase pipeline and sell solutions into their customer base.
We will help our partners address their customers' needs with technological deliverables such as data duplication, tape, shared file systems, encryption, and storage virtualization--with approached that leverages their existing infrastructure.
Meet and exceed sales targets for given territory.
Act as the primary contact with the partner representatives to build a deep pipeline and help convert prospects to sales.
Deliver professional sales presentations via phone, webinar, and in-person.
Manage pilot programs for a successful outcome.
Train, coach and educate sales teams on product's competitive advantages, solutions, promotions, and operating procedures.
Participate in partner sales meetings, events, and customer facing activities to create a bias for solutions.
Forecast and track sales and lead activities using Salesforce
Ensure that all sales-related issues are solved expediently, and all non-sales issues are delegated to the appropriate staff and followed to completion.
1-2 years of call center experience
A proven track record of success in sales
Background in speaking to CXO level contacts
Background in discussing back-up solutions such as tape and deisk, is a plus
Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
