Territory Sales Manager (TSM) Asante Solutions
Asante Solutions is a medical device company bringing to market major advancements in the treatment of Diabetes.
This position is responsible and accountable for all activities related to calling on healthcare professionals (Endocrinologists & Diabetes Educators), patients, managed care organizations, distributors and other referral sources related to intensive diabetes management. On a day-to-day basis the TSM will be in the field making sales calls educating customers on the value of insulin pump therapy and Asante?s products with a goal to procure insulin pump sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:
Meet and exceed sales quota set by the management team.
Contribute to and influence both the strategy and day-to-day management for sales activities.
Develop and manage relationships with key customers including external and internal customers.
Stay abreast of market, proactively advise senior management of changes, and ensure communication throughout the organization.
Maintain good working relationships with the diabetes community ? physicians/diabetes educators and industry.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to maximize sales opportunities.
Develop and present at special events (i.e., support groups, health fairs, community education programs etc.) to enhance the education of customers.
Understand and present detailed features of company and competitor products.
Apply information of disease state and products to help customers through purchasing process of insulin pump.
Develop call plans for maximum reach and impact.
Record all calls in sales reporting tool (i.e., Sales Force reporting system).
Complete all expense reports in a timely manner.
Support the Company Quality Policy and Quality System.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of five (5) or more years of medical device related sales or clinical experience preferably with insulin pumps or other devices in the diabetes arena
Demonstrated top sales performer.
Experience in the (early phase) start-up environment with successful sales of a product
Thorough understanding of the diabetes and pump markets.
Knowledge of, prior interaction and relationships with, thought leaders and key practitioners in the diabetes and pump markets.
Demonstrated knowledge of and relationships with distributors.
Demonstrated hands-on, results-oriented approach to sales and leadership with a strong emphasis on team work.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events ? flexibility is key.
Strong analytical skills required.
Experience in managing and controlling territory budget.

Experienced communicator/presenter of technical information with a quality focus to internal as well as external partners in a large group setting.
