Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive computer technology and networking programs, focusing on the delivery and conduct of intensive orientation training. Must pass a DoD polygraph.
Support development and implementation of comprehensive computer technology and networking programs, focusing on the delivery and conduct of intensive orientation training.
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on all aspects of CNO Training, to include network operations and network analysis, Close Access and Expeditionary CNO.
Interface and coordinate with external organizations for the development of an optimal computer technology and networking curricula.
Conduct and coordinate operator training on computer and networking platforms and equipment.
Ensure systems are properly configured and maintained in accordance with Army policies and accepted IT standards.
Provide systems orientation and account creation for selected personnel.
Provide technical networking expertise input for CNO exercise training events.
Provide computer network theory and operator training to selected personnel.
Provide technical support for UNIX, LINUX, Solaris, and Windows operating systems (OS) in the form of training and expertise.
Conduct assessments of information infrastructure to include computer networks and communications architecture and supporting operating systems to determine and identify system intrusion vulnerabilities.
Ensure CNO training program systems represent state-of-the-art technology in exploitation assessments of the information infrastructure to include computer networks and communications architecture and supporting operating systems.
Conduct training on system strengths and vulnerabilities with a view toward intrusion detection and compromise techniques.
Replicate selected network architectures, to include designing network configurations, modifying existing network architectures and troubleshooting problems on Bde CNO Program-related networks.
Create, modify and troubleshoot CNO training program associated LANs.
Establish and maintain a database of vulnerabilities resulting from deficiencies in organizational and security structure, policy, programs, and information flow.
Draft reports, summaries, white papers, briefings and other special projects as required.
Travel CONUS/OCONUS to support the Brigade CNO architecture as directed by the Program Director, Deputy Program Director, Battalion Commander or designated representative.
Some supervisory responsibilities
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor of Science/Arts degree
8 + years of experience in related field
CISSP Certification required
Project Management Professional (PMP) andor Master Training Specialist (MTS) preferred
Possess effective communications skill, both written and oral
Must be willing to deploy into combat areas or in support of contingency or training operations
